"JOY"

Psalm 9:1I'm thanking you, GOD, from a full heart, I'm writing the book on your wonders.
2I'm whistling, laughing, and jumping for joy;I'm singing your song, High God.
3The day my enemies turned tail and ran,they stumbled on you and fell on their faces.
4You took over and set everything right;when I needed you, you were there, taking charge.



Have you ever had one of those days where you felt like laughing and jumping for joy? Most of us can attest to the fact that we don't have days like that every day. Perhaps you awoke this morning and you found it hard to even get out of bed. Perhaps you pulled the covers over your head and said to yourself, I'd rather not. However, it is clear in the bible that our circumstances don't dictate our way we walk with the Lord. A quick prayer in the morning can take us through our day and keep us on the right track.



Prayer: Lord open my eyes to your joy. I ask you to let me see a new way. Let me see with your eyes. Lord give me a joy that is unaffected by circumstances. Lord, only you know my heart and only you can heal my broken places. I trust you Lord to take care of me in my times of uncertainity and distress. I cast all my cares upon you Lord.
